Blizzard has recently launched the latest expansion pack to its flagship MMORPG game World of Warcraft. Called World of Warcraft: Cataclysm, the third expansion continues the epic story that takes place in Azeroth. levels 1-60 have also been changed with blizzards expansion reaching over 5000 new quests. Many of the new quest are for the Worgen and Goblin races, which are the two new classes. All players including veteran players are expected to face all sorts of new challenges so surviving the cataclysm can be quite tricky unless you prepare your character the right way.

Leveling Up

Another massive change is the new talent system that blizzard has put in, if you played wow before the latest expansion then when your 85 you will have as many talents as when you where 60 in the old game, also you now can't spec into 2 trees unless you have spent 31 points in one. This applies to all players in world of warcraft. Once they reach level 80, players can enjoy the raised level cap up to 85 where talent points are given for every additional level gained. This means that 41 points are distributable as soon as level 85 is attained so talent builders need to plan their builds wisely.

Other than that, the same techniques in leveling up in other expansion packs apply. Make sure you try to complete quests all togeather so you don't waste time, also make sure you breifly read all your quest first even if you have questhelper on, to save you getting angry about not being able to find a quest. 80-85 has some of the coolest content blizzard has created for World of Warcraft in years there is an underwater zone, great cinimatics and some of the best story line ever. Some of the places that are worth visiting include Deepholm, Uldum, and Vashj'ir(under water place). At first you will be able to get 1 of 2 quest at the start of your local board and these will be to go to vashj'ir or mount hydual.

Making Gold in Cata

If you think you will have trouble with gold don't worry because, in Cata there is about 5000g just from level to 85, and thats only if you just do enough to get you to 85. If you need more gold then the two best professions are mining first, becuase it is needed for 3 crafting professions and has a higher demand, and then herbalism because it has two crafting professions. Osidian normally sells for the least at 5-10 g each and if you can get prite ore then you should be able to make 20- 30 each from this. Explore Deepholm to find the uncommon Elementium Ore or head to Twilight Highlands to find the rarer Pyrite Ore.

if your prospec your ore then this will normally make you allot more cash then just selling it but you will have to find someone that can do this for you. If you have inscription which is used to make glyphs, then you can make fortune card which are need for different foods and professions. If you not interested in professions then quest once you hit 85 and doing dailies is a great way to make extra cash.
